Latest Scans and Back to School
Following the radiosurgery on the tumor in her lung, Kimberlyn had a CT scan and a bone scan. Results show the radiosurgery shrunk the lung tumor. Only a very small spot remains in her lung. The scan did show a new tumor in her liver. Doctor says it is very small. We think that maybe due to the fact that she went without chemo for a couple of months while dealing with her lung. Plans for now are to continue her maintenance chemo and have a PET scan in 3 months.

2 years agoNo Such Thing As A Small Procedure
So last Monday, Kimberlyn went in for day-surgery, for what should have been about a 30 minute procedure. Expectations were for her to go home the same day.

Please continue to pray for my precious wife. She hasn't felt well these last couple of weeks. Thanks so much for you care and concern over this past year and a half.

2 years agoOverdue Update
Good afternoon. Apologies that is has been a while since we've sent out an update. Thankfully, over the past 6 months or so, things have been as close to normal as we could expect.

3 years agoSurprise Surgery!
Unfortunately, it looks like Kimberlyn will need to have the chemo port removed. If so, she would continue her maintenance chemo treatment in pill-form.

3 years agoLast BIG Chemo Treatment
Kimberlyn just finished her last 'big' treatment and moves on to maintenance starting in a few weeks. She'll have a pet scan in a few weeks to see where she is. It is our prayer that the cancer is completely gone, but that is in God's hands. It has been a rough 6 months but God has protected her.

God Answers Prayer
Hi! It's me, Kimberlyn. I want to start by saying how thankful I am for firends and family and the prayers that so many have prayed on my behalf. The latest news was wonderful. In February, I was told I had 4 tumors in my lungs, 4 or 5 in my liver, as well as the primary tumor in my colon. After the latest PET scan, only the primary tumor and one in my lungs remain. These two are about 1/4 the size they were in February.
