Following the radiosurgery on the tumor in her lung, Kimberlyn had a CT scan and a bone scan. Results show the radiosurgery shrunk the lung tumor. Only a very small spot remains in her lung. The scan did show a new tumor in her liver. Doctor says it is very small. We think that maybe due to the fact that she went without chemo for a couple of months while dealing with her lung. Plans for now are to continue her maintenance chemo and have a PET scan in 3 months.

After a couple of weeks of tests, scans, and procedures, Kimberlyn met with her oncologist this morning and received some really great news!

This morning, Kimberlyn met with the radiation team at Baylor to discuss starting radiation treatments for the primary tumor.

Kimberlyn called her oncologist this morning for clarification and more details concerning the results of her latest CT scans.

Kimberlyn just finished her last 'big' treatment and moves on to maintenance starting in a few weeks. She'll have a pet scan in a few weeks to see where she is. It is our prayer that the cancer is completely gone, but that is in God's hands. It has been a rough 6 months but God has protected her.

I received some pretty great news yesterday. My blood work is showing that my tumor markers are almost non-existent!!! I'll have a PET scan in a month to see where we're really at. I want to thank everyone for their prayers and encouragement.
